Kevin c. shea

Kevin Shea is a trial and appellate lawyer with extensive experience in state and federal litigation since receiving his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as an intern law clerk for the Honorable Alfred V. Covello, U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut. In both private practice and as corporate litigation counsel for a Fortune 500 company, Mr. Shea has successfully handled trials and appeals in state and federal courts, and has a broad range of experience in civil litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, including personal injury, professional liability/malpractice, product liability, commercial litigation, civil rights, employment litigation and class actions. He has won verdicts in both jury and courtside trials, including verdicts of several million dollars on behalf of personal injury clients. Mr. Shea has also successfully briefed and argued appeals before Connecticut appellate courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Shea was elected as secretary and member of the zoning commission in Westbrook where he served from 1999 through 2003, and he was elected to and presently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the First Congregational Church of Westbrook. He and his wife and family live in Madison.
